very impressive look for an advertisement like that. Because the blood on the front of the car is colored it takes first attention not the modified sport car. so lighting and texturing not important here. For the design perspective it does a great job i think.

i want to ask you something about the tetures... i believe this is a high res model ofcourse... how do you texture the model. if you texture the model without the meshsmooth on and then apply the meshsmooth modifier i always find that the textures get messed up and there is a lot of distortion. this makes sence as the model gets tessellated with the mesh smooth and changes topology.... does this mean u use unwrap on top of the meshsmooth...??? if so, then does it not become too slow to work... first slow because of the high res model being unwrapped and second that you have to select 1000's of tiny polys???

u r a gr8 artist. lee is stupid to comment like this and i guess he doesnt have a job himself.... u know what i mean... ;>)

Admin Edit: I think that this was a job... and that I got paid for it... and that the client liked it... and that it got published in magazines, as an advertisement. :)
I do need more practice, but then again, who doesn't?

Nice car.Great details.I've been learning 3d modelling for about 3 months .How long do you think it would take to be able to model a car like that ? I mean the learning process.
